| Parade Script | Please rise for the presentation of our Nation's colors. The Escondido Mounted Posse was the first chartered mounted Posse in California. In 1948, they were established as an active reserve police force for the City of Escondido. Together with their personal horses, the group is now all volunteer. The posse makes public appearances in parades and community events throughout Southern California. Thank you to our Veterans and Military! |
